The ambition behind the Core series was to create and design scissors that can make a difference in the everyday lives of us as hairdressers. Scissors where performance, ergonomics, and durability are prioritized. Where every little detail has been thoroughly worked through and tested to create the absolute best “all-in-all” series. The name is Core. Core, as in the largest and most important part of the concept and the core element.

BALANCE

The Balance scissors combine two worlds in their cutting performance. They are designed to be reversible and used in reverse. This means that they can be used for classic scissor-over-comb cutting, but also for Asian, vertical texturizing. This is a method where you “slice-cut” or “point-cut” with the scissors to create vertical movement while also thinning out the hair. The 27 teeth on the Balance are slightly curved, ensuring that the tooth always hits the cutting edge at the same angle. This results in a smoother and more consistent cut. Each tooth on the scissors has small grooves that push the hair into the gap between the teeth, ensuring a completely perfect, soft, and invisible cut. The scissor’s “butterfly” grip ensures an optimal ergonomic hold, and the “glasses” handle allows you to rotate the scissors so you can thin the hair from soft to more impactful. The Balance scissors remove between 10-15% of hair with the standard sharpening but can be adjusted to a more aggressive version that removes between 15-20% of hair.
